今日はレッスンの後、ぽかぽか陽気に誘われて近くの公園にお弁当を持って遊びに行きました。

Today I went to a park near my house with my children, my students and their mother after English lesson.   We took lunch there.  It was a beautiful day.

下の子が２，３日前に自転車に乗れるようになりました。まだまだ危なっかしくて見ていて冷や冷やするものの、本人はとっても楽しそう。

My son was able to ride a bicycle for the first time a few days ago.  He seems to be very happy riding on it, though I feel uneasy watchig him. 

今日の公園はたくさんの人でにぎわっていました。

There were a lot of people at the park.

ご飯の後、子どもたちは楽しそうに遊び続けていました。私も久しぶりに「かくれんぼ」を一緒にしてとっても楽しかったです。

After lunch, our children played a lot and I joined them doing “hide and seek”.   I also had a joyful time.

いつも公園にいくと幸せをかみしめずにはいられません。

Whenevrer I go to a park, I can’t help appreciating the happiness that I have.

公園に来ていた小さい子供たちとそのお母さんたちを見て、あの頃の私は子育てに毎日必死で大変なことも多かったなあと懐かしく思い出したりしていました。でも振り返ってみるとあっという間で、今となれば子供たちにあまり早く大きくならないで！と心の中で言っています。

Looking at small kids and their mothers, I recalled those days I was strrugling for raising my children.  But looking back, it is now a warmhearted memory and I always say to my children in my mind “Don’t grow up so quickly!”.

４月から上の子供は２年生、下の子は年中さんに進級します。

My daughter will be in the 2nd grade and my son be the second year at kindergarten.
