Shizuka Arakawa won the gold medal on the female figure skating competition at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Today I woke up around 5:30.p.m., and kept watching television. While she was skating, I just prayed for not falling down. When she finished her perfomance, I clapped my hands. I was also moved by the following performance by Fumie Suguri. Though she was not able to get any medal, I think not a few Japanese people were touched by her elegant skating.
While I was listening to Japanese anthem, my eyes were filled with tears. I don’t know how much power I gained. Thank you so much!
